Day to DayWe are recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee galvanizing operations within a busy manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities include:Supervising daily production activities across first and second shifts.Leading, training, and supporting a small production team.Overseeing the hot-dip galvanizing process, including surface preparation, galvanizing, and post-treatment.Monitoring production processes, equipment performance, tank conditions, temperatures, and chemical levels.Completing production documentation, inspections, and quality checks.Ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards.Driving continuous improvements in safety, productivity, and operational efficiency.Supporting production requirements, including occasional weekend work when required.
RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.5+ years of manufacturing or industrial production experience in a Galvanising environment.Previous galvanizing experience is required.Certified or experienced in operating forklifts and overhead cranes.Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Comfortable working in a heavy industrial, non-climate-controlled facility.Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
