Job description

The Program Manager will be responsible for the implementation of programs and projects, including grant management and working with grantees, as well as event and meeting planning. The successful candidate will work with the Executive Director to provide administrative duties to fulfill grants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the implementation of programs and projects to ensure compliance with grant requirements and timelines.
• Work with grantees to provide guidance, support, and oversight throughout the grant process.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and community organizations to promote program objectives.
• Plan and coordinate events and meetings, including logistics, budgets, and marketing materials.
• Work with the Executive Director to provide administrative support, including preparing grant applications and reports, budget management, and record keeping.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to grantors and stakeholders.
• Monitor program progress and evaluate program effectiveness using appropriate metrics.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Collaborate with other staff members and stakeholders to ensure successful program implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience using QuickBooks Online for budget management, record keeping, and financial reporting.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant management, program management, or project management.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with diverse members of the public, agency partners, and community organizations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Experience in event and meeting planning is preferred.
• Knowledge of grant applications and requirements is preferred.
• Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and events.
