Project Engineer

About the role

Manilakitchens is a provider of commercial kitchen solutions for restaurants and food businesses across the Philippines. The Project Engineer role is full-time and project based.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work for assigned projects.
• Supervise kitchen fit-out and equipment installation, and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Develop project schedules, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Attend meetings, manage change orders, and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Assist with project documentation, closeout requirements, and subcontractor billing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or electrical engineering (CME emphasis).
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Background in kitchen fit-out and kitchen equipment installation (mechanical and electrical) preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, including Sheets and Docs.
• Detail oriented and adaptable to change.
• Driver’s license and own transportation preferred.
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment, work independently, and handle a team.
