Project Manager

About the role

Lead a large-scale, multi-year technology modernization initiative involving the replacement of a legacy statewide probation case management system.

Tasks

• Lead the full project lifecycle, from requirements and procurement through implementation, data migration, testing, and statewide rollout.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, scope, risks, and vendor deliverables.
• Coordinate executive leadership, business teams, technology teams, and external stakeholders.
• Lead enterprise system replacement and organizational change management initiatives.
• Oversee data migration, system integration, testing, and implementation readiness.
• Prepare executive status reports and facilitate governance and issue escalation.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement, training, communications, and go-live activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project management experience.
• 5+ years leading large, complex technology implementations involving multiple vendors and stakeholder groups.
• Experience managing multi-year projects and enterprise system replacements.
• Strong experience with data migration and organizational change management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, risk management, and executive reporting skills.
• Preferred: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
• Preferred: Experience with Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid project delivery.
• Preferred: Public-sector experience, particularly in judicial, court, probation, corrections, or criminal justice systems.
• Preferred: Experience with COTS or SaaS implementations.
