Project Manager – Ottawa, Ontario

About the role

KNDS Canada Inc. is seeking a proactive Project Manager to join its growing team in Ottawa, Ontario. In this full-time, on-site role, you will lead projects from initiation through delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple projects from initiation through final delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, engineering teams, and customers.
• Review contracts, scopes of work, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor procurement, logistics, and equipment delivery schedules.
• Identify risks, resolve issues, and manage changes to project scope and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in project coordination or project management; experience in defense, manufacturing, engineering, or technical industries is preferred.
• Understanding of contracts, technical specifications, procurement, and supply chain coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• PMP certification is an asset but is not required.
