Job description
Lev Levner is seeking a Volunteer Assistance Curator in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Help create engaging educational and artistic experiences for visitors while building community connections and developing your skills in an inclusive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing and planning exhibitions and events to improve the visitor experience.
- Communicate with team members and visitors, providing helpful information and guidance.
- Collaborate with volunteers and staff to support smooth daily operations.
- Help keep exhibit spaces clean, orderly, and welcoming.
- Attend group meetings and share ideas and feedback to improve the volunteer program.
- Document visitor interactions and feedback to help assess exhibit impact.
- Support outreach initiatives that attract visitors and strengthen community engagement.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous volunteer or work experience in a cultural or museum setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital tools and social media platforms for outreach is an advantage.
