Job description
About the Role
Bluebix Solutions is hiring a full-time Glazing Project Manager in Florida City, Florida. This on-site role oversees assigned glazing projects from preconstruction and planning through installation and close-out. You will coordinate internal teams and external partners to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan project scope, schedules, budgets, risk mitigation, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with estimating and engineering teams on project requirements, shop drawings, submittals, and fabrication schedules.
- Serve as the primary client contact; respond to RFIs, manage change orders, provide status updates, and support client satisfaction.
- Conduct site visits, review installation quality, and verify compliance with contract documents and manufacturer and system specifications.
- Manage subcontractors and trades, including work orders, productivity, safety, schedule milestones, and quality standards.
- Track project budgets, review cost variances, approve invoices, and take corrective action as needed.
- Resolve technical issues and system integration challenges involving glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or impact systems.
- Lead close-out, including commissioning, punch lists, project documentation, as-built drawings, certifications, and warranty handover.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of project management experience in construction or glazing; curtain wall, storefront, or façade systems experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of architectural glazing, curtain wall, window wall, and storefront systems.
- Ability to coordinate multiple project stakeholders and manage project schedules, budgets, quality, and safety.
