Project Manager/Leader

Tasks

• Lead two concurrent, large-scale, complex, high-profile technology projects through planning, implementation, deployment, and closeout.
• Work with executives, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver business outcomes on time, within scope and budget.

Requirements

• Strong vendor management
• Leading and managing Requests for Bid (RFBs)
• Overseeing project governance and communications
• Communicating confidently with executives and senior stakeholders
• Producing strong project documentation
• Managing resources for large data migration activities
• Managing complex projects, including integrated plans, schedules, scope, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
• Developing and documenting business requirements and business cases, including options analysis, benefits, costs, risks, and recommendations
• Presenting business cases to executive committees and supporting approval decisions
• Forecasting, monitoring, and managing project budgets, funding, expenditures, and reconciliations
• Leading project teams, clarifying roles, setting expectations, resolving resource or team conflicts, and keeping deliverables on track
• Coordinating stakeholders, steering committees, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Mapping business requirements to system functionality; developing and executing test cases; tracking and monitoring defects
• Supporting organizational development, strategy, business planning, funding requests, and change management
• Identifying risks, issues, and delivery gaps early and developing mitigation plans
• Recommending software, hardware, and technology resources
• Applying project management methodologies, government standards, and I&IT best practices
• Cloud solution procurement and delivery, including data migration to cloud
• Microsoft DevOps and Microsoft Teams for project management
• AODA, related acces
