Project/Network Engineer – Fibre Deployment

About the role

Help expand FTTH connectivity across Quebec by validating engineering designs and ensuring compliant SXU and MXU fibre deployments.

Tasks

• Review FTTH/FTTP designs, IFC/As-Built packages and network architecture.
• Validate fibre routes, cabling, splitters and pole loading calculations.
• Ensure compliance with Hydro-Québec, Bell and municipal standards.
• Coordinate project partners, conduct technical audits and resolve field issues.

Requirements

• Excellent French (spoken & written) and fluent English are essential for daily communication with Quebec-based teams, Hydro-Québec, municipalities and national engineering teams.
• 3–5+ years
• FTTH/FTTP
• SXU & MXU
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in FTTH/FTTP engineering and deployment.
• Knowledge of structure permits, Quebec standards and easements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS tools (SpatialNet, ArcGIS, QGIS, MyWorld or equivalents).
• Member of OIQ or eligible (Ing. / CPI).
