Job description
About the role
Join Alpha House Recovery Community and help keep a safe, clean and supportive home for those on their recovery journey. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during daytime hours. Hours are approximately 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. and may vary for special events. The role reports to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities
- General maintenance and repairs: Painting, repairs, property upkeep and project coordination.
- Cleaning and organization: Daily deep cleans, pantries, freezers, storage and more.
- Food and inventory: Menu planning, ordering, food prep and help with clerks.
- Health and safety: Organization and cleanliness of facilities.
- Transport and supplies: Manage storage units and transport items between sites.
