Key Responsibilities Remote Inpatient Psychiatry (Day & Night Shifts Available) Conduct comprehensive assessments, including patient histories and mental status evaluations. Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individual treatment plans tailored to each patient. Provide medication management, ensuring safe and effective pharmacological treatments. Offer crisis intervention and management to patients in acute settings. Engage in ongoing patient education, promoting understanding of mental health issues and treatment options. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and ensure holistic approaches to treatment. Utilize therapeutic communication skills to build rapport and trust with patients of diverse backgrounds. Required and Preferred Qualifications Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). TX and FL license required Proven skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Competence in medication management and therapeutic communication. Excellent empathy and cultural competence skills. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a psychiatric setting is a must. ✨ Why PsychPlus?
