As a QA Engineer at TekBricks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with developers and business analysts to identify defects and validate fixes, helping us maintain high standards that exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities Analyze software requirements to prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios that cover functional and non-functional aspects. Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to identify bugs and usability issues before release. Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing to ensure new features and fixes meet quality standards. Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla, maintaining clear documentation and status updates. Collaborate closely with development teams and business analysts during sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups to resolve issues efficiently. Validate fixes and retest resolved defects to confirm issues are fully addressed prior to deployment. Ensure all applications meet established quality standards and client expectations, contributing to customer satisfaction and retention. Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies and tools. What We're Looking For Required: Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and best practices. Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) . Hands-on experience in test case creation and execution for web and mobile applications. Understanding of the defect life cycle and defect management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, ALM . Basic knowledge of SQL and database querying to support backend testing. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in sprint ceremonies. Experience with automation testing tools is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Motivated to learn new technologies and grow professionally within the QA field.
