Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The candidate will be responsible for testing web and/or mobile applications, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
  • Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
  • Identify, log, and track defects using defect-tracking tools
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups
  • Validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release
  • Ensure applications meet quality standards and client expectations

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts
  • Experience in SDLC & STLC
  • Hands-on experience with test case creation and execution
  • Knowledge of defect life cycle
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, ALM
