QA Supervisor

Magellan Commodities Inc., a manufacturer of roasted coffee, is seeking QA Supervisor to be assigned to our plant facility located in Paco, Manila City.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and other related fields
• At least three (3) years’ supervisory experience gained in food manufacturing company
• Knowledge of quality management systems and ability to establish related standards, programs, processes, and procedures
• Possess good analytical skills, problem-solving, and leadership qualities in implementing QA systems and procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, motivate and collaborate effectively with Teams

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, establish procedures, maintain programs and activities to implement quality, effectiveness and food safety systems in accordance with globally recognized standards
• Prepare and conduct training to concerned personnel on appropriate knowledge and understanding of QA standards and customer requirements for smooth implementation
• Conduct inspections, internal audit, and coordinate internal and external 3rd party audits as required by Customer, analysis of results, and development of CAPA on identified opportunities for improvement
• Establish testing and monitoring procedures for materials, processes, and finished products to ensure quality and food safety
• Ensure compliance of materials, process, and finished products to regulatory and Customer requirements.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Oversee the activities of the QA Department and work with the Team to enhance quality and food safety
