QAQC Engineer

About the role

Jazyinc is seeking a QAQC Engineer for the PCN General Hospital Project in New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City. This is a full-time, project-based role.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan and ensure work complies with specifications, approved drawings, contract requirements, and building details.
• Develop and monitor inspection and test plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QCC Procedures.
• Conduct quality control inspections and audits, and maintain accurate records of project activities.
• Document and report deviations and corrective actions.
• Inspect civil, structural, architectural, and MEPFS works, and verify materials against approved submittals and technical specifications.
• Monitor testing activities, including concrete, steel reinforcement, soil, and welding; coordinate with accredited laboratories and ensure timely submission of test results.
• Prepare and maintain quality records, MTRs, WIRs, and NCRs. Monitor corrective and preventive actions through closure.
• Ensure timely documentation and turnover to the Construction Management, and coordinate with other parties to complete quality documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; PRC license is preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience as a QA/QC Engineer, preferably in building or hospital construction.
• Knowledge of quality standards, testing procedures, and building codes.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work in Taguig City.
