Balaji Constructions is hiring a full-time QA/QC Engineer (Construction) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. In this on-site role, you will help ensure construction work and materials meet project specifications, applicable standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship and verify compliance with project specifications.
- Perform or coordinate material testing to confirm materials meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Document non-conformance issues, report findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Work with construction teams to implement quality assurance and quality control procedures on-site.
- Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve quality concerns.
- Follow safety protocols and promote safe practices across the workforce.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Ideally, at least 3 years of experience in construction quality assurance and quality control.
- Knowledge of construction materials, applicable IS Codes, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with construction site safety practices.
