Part-Time QA/Software Tester – Remote, United States

Agency is hiring a part-time, remote QA/Software Tester in the United States. In this role, you will help ensure software products meet quality standards through thorough manual testing, clear documentation, and close collaboration with developers and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually test software applications to identify defects and verify functionality.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software products.
• Work with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications.
• Document testing processes and results, and prepare detailed software performance reports.
• Record and track defects, collaborating with developers to support resolution.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute quality assurance and testing insights.
• Perform regression testing after software fixes to verify reliability.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of software testing experience, particularly in manual testing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with software testing tools is preferred.

Team and Reporting

You will collaborate with developers, project managers, and other QA testers as part of cross-functional teams. This role reports to a QA Lead or Project Manager and helps align testing activities with broader project goals.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

Pay: $80,000 per year. This is a part-time, remote-eligible position based in the United States.
