Job description
Zazmic Inc is hiring a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer in San Francisco, California. This remote-eligible role offers the opportunity to help deliver reliable software through thoughtful testing, clear defect reporting, and close collaboration with development and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories.
- Perform manual functional testing of MVP features, along with regression and cross-browser and device testing.
- Test across the latest versions of Chrome and Safari, as well as standard iOS and Android devices.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
- Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements and contribute to effective testing strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and process improvement initiatives.
- Report testing progress and results, sharing insights that support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5–6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with scripting languages and automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency with relevant software testing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is preferred.
