Job description
About the role
Manilakitchens is looking for a Quality Control Officer to ensure commercial kitchen equipment and fabricated products meet company specifications and quality standards before receipt, storage, and dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Inspect kitchen equipment and fabricated products for defects, damage, and workmanship.
- Verify products against specifications, measurements, and quality standards.
- Conduct basic functional testing of applicable equipment.
- Document inspection results and prepare quality reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Logistics, and suppliers regarding quality issues, inspection records, and tracking logs.
- Maintain inspection records and tracking logs.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and handling of approved products.
- Conduct periodic inventory quality checks.
- Assist in improving inspection procedures and quality control processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in Quality Control, Manufacturing, Fabrication, or Equipment Inspection is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures, technical specifications, and basic measuring tools.
- Basic understanding of fabrication, mechanical, electrical, or commercial kitchen equipment and advantages.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace, particularly Excel or Google Sheets.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willing to work onsite in Cabuyao, Laguna, and perform hands-on inspection activities.
