Quality Controller/Fleet

About the role

Our client, a national Logistics company, is seeking to employ a quality controller to join their growing team.

Tasks

• Yard sheet completion/identification in the morning and afternoon.
• Vehicle inspections (oil, water, Service stickers, license disc, etc.).
• QC checks the vehicle with the driver to verify vehicle condition at the checkpoint – dispatch.
• QC must ensure that the vehicle is inspect
• C must inform operations if a vehicle has damage, is due for service/COF, or if the tyres need to be replaced.
• QC oversees the key register and the safe – key handovers and returns.
• Responsible for fuel dip readings in the morning and evening.
• Vehicle handover to workshop – including check sheet in/out.

Requirements

• Relevant experience.
• Grade 12
• Code 8 or ideally code 10
