Quality Engineer

Tasks

• Maintain the site Quality Management System and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, company standards, and applicable certifications.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on zero defects, zero escapes, and reducing Cost of Quality.
• Conduct process audits across fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, procurement, planning, and customer service.
• Lead internal and external audits; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage NCRs, trend quality data, and lead Material Review Board activities.
• Develop Quality Control Plans, inspection and test plans, sampling plans, procedures, work instructions, and templates.
• Maintain the TMDE calibration program and oversee document control.
• Prepare monthly quality reports, inspection test reports, and manage Engineering Change Notices as needed.
• Interpret blueprints, BOMs, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Conduct supplier audits, including PCB fabrication, contract manufacturing, and obsolete semiconductor vendors.
• Apply knowledge of mechanical inspection equipment, such as hardness testers, visual comparators, and gauges.
• Support implementation of Weatherford quality policies while upholding HSE, safety, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–10 years
• Oil & Gas experience is required
