Quality Inspector CMM - O'Fallon, MO

Austin Machine, a reputable aerospace job shop located in O'Fallon, Missouri, is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector with CMM expertise to join our team. This is a full-time, day-shift position in a clean, air-conditioned environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform first piece inspections from CNC machines
• Conduct in-process production inspections
• Carry out final inspections and approve incoming materials and outside processing
• Execute inspections following AS9100 standards and AS9102 procedures and forms
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work with CAD solid models
• Apply GD&T knowledge effectively
• Utilize CMM equipment for precise measurement and inspection

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a First Article Inspector with CMM skills is required
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work with CAD models
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Familiarity with AS9100 and AS9102 inspection standards
