Milanie Noriega is seeking a skilled Radiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity across the United States. Join a collaborative healthcare team providing diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic clinical environment. This position offers exposure to a variety of cases and the opportunity to contribute to patient care across multiple locations. The physician reports to the Director of Radiology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Consult with referring physicians about imaging findings and support clinical decision-making.
- Manage patient imaging care and communicate results effectively with patients and medical teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow applicable privacy requirements.
- Keep current with advances in radiology and diagnostic imaging through continuing education.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- At least two years of post-residency clinical experience in radiology.
- Strong diagnostic imaging interpretation skills.
- Familiarity with imaging software and electronic health record systems.
- Radiology board certification preferred; it is not mandatory.
