RDK-B Triage Engineer

Tasks

• Troubleshoot end-to-end issues across RDK-B broadband components, including Wi-Fi/Mesh, DOCSIS, Fiber, and LTE technologies.
• Analyze source code in C/C++ and related platform components to identify, debug, and resolve software defects.
• Diagnose system and connectivity issues using Linux, networking protocols, and packet capture analysis.
• Analyze logs and system performance data using ELK, Splunk, Grafana, and similar monitoring tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, broadband technology, embedded systems, RDK-B, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on programming experience with C/C++ and Python.
• Proficiency in Linux troubleshooting and system debugging.
• Experience with broadband and access network technologies, including Wi-Fi/Mesh, DOCSIS, Fiber, or LTE.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and packet capture analysis.
• Preferred: Experience with RDK-B platform components and embedded broadband software.
• Preferred: Experience analyzing large-scale field device data and identifying system anomalies.
• Preferred: Strong problem-solving skills in broadband networking, software debugging, and performance optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Equivalent relevant technical education and professional experience may also be considered.
