About the role

Cityofvalley is seeking a Recreation Leader I ParksGrounds to assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of parks, green spaces, and other recreational properties throughout the City of Valley. This hands-on outdoor position focuses on keeping city parks clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

Pick up trash and debris throughout city parks and recreational areas.
Remove fallen sticks, limbs, and other debris from park grounds.
Perform weed eating, edging, and general grounds maintenance.
Assist with mowing grass as needed.
Operate small-engine equipment such as weed eaters, blowers, and mowers.
Assist Parks & Recreation staff with other outdoor maintenance projects as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience operating small-engine lawn and grounds equipment.
Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
