Arijita Ghosh is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse - Med-Surg in Gainesville, Florida. This on-site nursing role focuses on delivering safe, compassionate patient care and supporting recovery in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, promoting patient safety, health, and comfort.
- Administer prescribed IV therapy and medications.
- Assess patient needs, apply critical thinking, and respond to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient status.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare professionals on care plans.
- Educate patients and families about treatment, medications, and follow-up care.
- Attend departmental meetings and participate in continuing education.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Strong patient-care and communication skills.
- Experience with IV therapy and medication administration.
- Sound critical-thinking and patient-assessment abilities.
