Release Manager

Tasks

• End-to-end Release Planning & Execution across Salesforce Service Cloud environments.
• Manage deployments across Dev, QA, UAT, Staging & Production.
• Source control & branch management (merge requests, cherry-picking, branch protection, release branch prep).
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline execution in GitLab (YAML-based pipeline configs, troubleshooting, automation improvements).
• Salesforce deployment management, sandbox lifecycle, and environment readiness.
• Change management & governance (CAB participation, audit compliance, rollback strategies).
• Collaboration with developers, QA, architects, and global delivery teams.

Requirements

• Proven Release Engineering / DevOps / Release Management background
• Strong Salesforce Service Cloud release process knowledge
• Git expertise with branching strategies & merge conflict resolution
• Hands-on GitLab CI/CD pipeline management (not just repo-level knowledge)
• Experience with YAML pipeline configs, troubleshooting & automation
• Strong communication & stakeholder engagement skills
• Preferred: Enterprise-scale Salesforce release support
• Preferred: Familiarity with CAB processes & governance
• Preferred: Experience with rollback strategies & release automation
