Role Overview

As a remote CAD drafter, you may prepare and maintain accurate CAD or architectural drawings, manage revisions, and ensure documentation meets project requirements. You do not need experience in every specialty. Tell us which responsibilities you have owned and where your drafting skills are strongest.

Potential Responsibilities

• Create or update drawings using the drafting tools relevant to your specialty.
• Translate supplied dimensions, sketches, and markups into clear documentation.
• Review drawings for detail, consistency, and revision accuracy before handoff.
• Coordinate questions and keep drawing files organized.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Clear written and spoken English, with strong attention to detail.
• Practical experience with CAD, architectural drafting, drawing review, and file management tools.
• Examples of work you personally completed in your selected specialty.
• Availability during US business hours and willingness to work as an independent contractor.

Nice to Have

Experience supporting US-based clients or teams and familiarity with the relevant industry are helpful but are not requirements for every opportunity.
