Role overview

Help users and teams keep systems running through structured troubleshooting, accurate ticket documentation, and clear technical guidance. You do not need experience in every IT specialty. Describe the responsibilities you have owned and the areas where you are strongest.

Responsibilities

• Investigate user and system issues and document troubleshooting steps.
• Resolve support requests within your access level and expertise.
• Maintain user or system configurations in your selected IT support specialty.
• Escalate complex issues and document repeatable solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Clear written and spoken English with strong attention to detail.
• Practical experience with help desk support, operating systems, user administration, and technical support tools.
• Examples of work you personally handled in your selected specialty.
• Availability to work U.S. business hours as an independent contractor.

Preferred experience

Experience supporting U.S.-based clients or teams and familiarity with the industry you would support are helpful, but are not requirements for every opportunity.
