About the role
Saving Paws Rescue is looking for dedicated individuals to care for rescue dogs and make a difference in their lives. This is a paid position; compensation will be discussed during the hiring process.
Positions are available during the week and on weekends. The rescue operates from 6am to 8pm, with two daily shifts ranging from 4 to 5 hours. Night shift is mainly needed.
Responsibilities
- Walk dogs on leash.
- Assist with controlled dog introductions.
- Maintain a clean environment and handle small housekeeping projects.
- Communicate with the board of directors, volunteers, and potential adopters.
Requirements
- Experience working with German Shepherd and Malinois breeds.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Effective communication skills.
