Retail Store Designer

About the role

Azaaki is hiring a Retail Store Designer for their client, Luxottica.

Tasks

• Develop complete store design drawing packages from approved brand concepts and standards
• Produce floor plans, fixture plans, and interior and storefront elevations
• Adapt layouts to site conditions, landlord criteria, and code requirements
• Review vendor shop drawings and incorporate redlines quickly and accurately
• Support design decks, sample boards, and DD/construction phase updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• 3+ years of retail store design and documentation experience
• Strong AutoCAD and Bluebeam skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Knowledge of retail construction, millwork, lighting, basic MEP, ADA, and building codes
• Preferred: Revit, 3D modeling, and experience with large multi-brand retail rollouts.
• Candidates who live in or can easily commute to the NYC area (NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, Long Island, Northern NJ, Westchester, and Connecticut)

Schedule

• Contract
• Duration: 3 to 6 months, with possible extension
• 100% onsite in Manhattan
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay

• $48.98/hr on W2, all inclusive
