KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Risk Assessments: Inspect the work area daily to find dangerous conditions, faulty equipment, or unsafe employee behavior.
- Policy Enforcement: Create safety protocols and ensure the company follows local labor and safety laws.
- Incident Investigations: Look into accidents, injuries, or near-misses to find the root cause and stop them from happening again.
- Training and Drills: Teach workers how to use personal protective equipment (PPE), handle emergencies, and run fire drills.
- Safety Record: Keep accurate logs of safety audits, training sessions, and injury reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- With valid Safety Officer Certification (SO1, SO2, or SO3).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and construction industry standards.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to be assigned outside Metro Manila.
