Sales and Design Associate – Annapolis, MD

Join a natural stone and home design sales team in Annapolis, Maryland. This full-time, on-site Sales and Design Associate role offers an immediate hiring opportunity, with training provided for the right candidate.

Arkadia Surfaces features an interactive showroom with countertops, cabinetry, tile, fixtures, and products from innovative, environmentally conscious brands. As the primary point of contact throughout the sales process, you’ll help customers explore options, make informed selections, and move their projects forward with attentive service.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers in the showroom and in their homes to understand their needs, ideas, and project goals.
• Recommend colors, materials, and products for countertop and home improvement projects.
• Educate customers about product options and help them make informed decisions.
• Assist walk-in customers and respond promptly to phone and email inquiries.
• Coordinate in-home estimates with clients.
• Plan and organize work to meet agreed-upon sales goals.
• Coordinate with colleagues and outside contacts to support a seamless sales process.
• Prepare and organize sales paperwork.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, preferably in home improvement; countertop experience is a plus.
• Comfort with calculations, including measurements, structural support considerations, and discounts.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and committed to excellent customer service.
• Able to occasionally lift light items and move around the showroom.

Work Environment and Support

This is an on-site position in Annapolis, Maryland. The comfortable showroom environment involves frequent movement and occasional light lifting. Management provides ongoing support, and training is available for the right candidate.
