Salesforce Engineer/Releasing Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Engineer / Release Manager with hands-on expertise in Salesforce development, release management, and CI/CD pipeline operations.

Tasks

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex and JavaScript.
• Manage and support Salesforce release activities, including code integration, branching strategies, build validation, deployments, and release coordination.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Git and GitHub Actions workflows for Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve build failures, deployment errors, merge conflicts, and environment-related issues.
• Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.
• Monitor deployment execution, validate release outcomes, and support post-deployment troubleshooting.
• Follow established source control, code review, testing, and release governance practices.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools and agentic coding capabilities where appropriate to improve engineering productivity.
• Communicate technical issues, root causes, and resolutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide release support during occasional late-night or off-hours deployment windows as required.
