SAP Basis Administrator

About roleSchlumberger has a Contractor position opening in Pune, India for an SAP BASIS Administrator, who will be responsible for working within Schlumberger’s SAP environments. This position will interact with business process owners and the ITT SAP project to team to ensure an overall stable solution.Key responsibilities· Perform system upgrades, refreshes, client copies including day to day Basis related activities· Application Operation Support including but not limited to - o SAP & third-party application administrationo Technical system monitoring, alert management & reporting using Solution Manager, HANA cockpit, CCMS, etc.o Application performance monitoring and tuningo Authentication and Single sign-ono Cross System Connectivityo SAP CTS/ChaRM administration & supporto Application of Security notes, EWA alert recommendations, Cyber Security vulnerability fixeso Background jobs/Redwood/Control-M administration & operationso SAP spool & print managemento Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis & preventative maintenanceo SAP System refreshes, client copieso Planned / Un-planned downtime & maintenance supporto IT Cyber Security heath checks & mitigations
· Work with Project and Support teams in conjunction· Work with DBA and Security team to support Infrastructure group· Able to support Transport management team and have a good understanding of change management processQualifications and Requirements· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering· 5+ years of SAP Basis experience with both ABAP and Java stack systems· Experience with the following is a must: SAP ECC 6.0, SAP SRM, SAP MDG, SAP GRC, SAP SCM, Fiori · In addition, experience with at least two of the following is a plus: PO, SAP ME/MII, OpenText Suite of products, SAP GTS, Solution Manager 7.2, Cloud solutions including SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, BTP, & C4C.· Good understanding of SAP Cloud Architecture, HCI Middleware setup and SuccessFactors integration with on-premise SAP environments.· Operating SAP systems on HANA/DB2/SQL Server/Oracle as the underlying databases.· Windows/Linux/AIX administration and management of SAP systems in a virtualization/Hyperscaler context is a big plus· Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills· Demonstrate ability to work well within a team, collaborate with various people and organizations to develop win/win results. · High level of proficiency and understanding of information technology and the linkage between business processes, people, and systems.
