Avalon is seeking a talented Script Writer for YouTube Animation to join our creative team on a freelance basis. Located in New York and Nebraska, we specialize in producing engaging animated digital media content for diverse audiences. This role is perfect for creative storytellers passionate about animation and fast-paced innovation. Key Responsibilities Develop original, engaging scripts for animated YouTube videos that captivate viewers. Conduct thorough research to ensure narrative accuracy and creativity. Collaborate closely with animators to align scripts with visual storytelling elements. Revise scripts based on feedback from the creative director and project stakeholders. Participate actively in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas and concepts. Meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery of all script assignments. Analyze viewer engagement metrics and adapt scripts to improve future content impact. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Film, Creative Writing, or a related field. Proven storytelling skills with a strong creative flair. Excellent research skills to create informative and relatable scripts. Experience writing for digital media or animation is preferred. Familiarity with animation production processes and ability to collaborate with artists. Minimum 2 years of professional scriptwriting or related experience.
