Scrum Master

Tasks

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, demos, and release planning.
• Track team velocity, sprint progress, and release metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, self-organization, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage and maintain product and sprint backlogs, ensuring transparency and data integrity.
• Identify and remove impediments that impact team productivity and delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and maximize product value.
• Promote servant leadership and continuous improvement across Agile teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Agile experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
• Certification from or the Agile Alliance.
• Experience in the financial services or insurance industry.
• Strong servant leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Agile metrics to drive team performance and process improvements.
• Preferred: Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• Preferred: Ability to solve complex problems and influence teams beyond traditional Scrum boundaries.
• Candidates must be willing to interview in person.
