SDET/QA Automation Engineer

Tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java and/or Python.
• Develop and execute end-to-end automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
• Integrate test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools and GitHub.
• Create and maintain BDD scenarios using Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to improve test coverage and software quality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects.
• Contribute to automation framework development and continuous QA process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be local to Phoenix, AZ
• available to work on W2.
• Selenium WebDriver
• Java and/or Python
• Cucumber / BDD
• API Testing – Postman / REST Assured
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Git / GitHub
• End-to-End Automation Testing
• Banking / Financial Services Domain
• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium automation testing.
• Good programming knowledge of Java and/or Python.
• Experience with Cucumber and BDD methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitHub.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
• Banking or financial services domain experience.
