Senior Accountant

Thomas, Speight, & Noble, CPAs is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in individual and business taxation, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. This role includes tax preparation, tax research, tax planning, and providing accounting and reporting with tax planning and providing accounting and reporting with our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
2 Prepare and maintain accounting statements
3 Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations
4 Prepare monthly and annual payr... (text partially small)
5 Monitor and analyze accounting data to make sure that accounts remain accurate
6 Preparation of tax returns

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of corporate and individual accounting principles
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines consistently
