This position offers unique exposure to investment accounting, family office operations, real estate, alternative investments, and strategic decision-making while working directly with executive leadership and family principals.

What You'll DoPerform accounting and financial reporting activities across a complex organizational structure consisting of more than 100 entitiesAnalyze general ledger activity and communicate financial trends and business drivers to leadershipAssist with treasury management, investment reporting, and asset allocation analysisTrack alternative investments through capital statements and investment manager reportsPrepare monthly financial reporting packages and operating summariesAssist with quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisReview expense requests and ensure adherence to established policies and proceduresSupport annual tax preparation by collecting, organizing, and analyzing required documentationParticipate in a major accounting system implementation and process improvement initiativeCollaborate with service providers to maintain timely and accurate financial recordsProvide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support investment and business decisionsContribute to a strong controls environment focused on accuracy, accountability, and documentation
What They're Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within public accountingExperience in family office accounting, investment accounting, fund accounting, or real estate accounting is highly attractiveCPA designation or CPA-track candidate preferred but not requiredStrong Excel and analytical skillsComfortable working in a collaborative environment where flexibility and initiative are highly valuedAbility to interact professionally with executives, ownership, and external stakeholdersWillingness to wear multiple hats and assist outside traditional accounting responsibilities when needed
