Senior Auditor

- HEAD OFFICE - Job Descriptions • Perform field testing, prepare comprehensive working papers, and verify compliance with internal policies and procedures. • Request, gather, and organize financial, operational, and branch-level audit evidence from department heads and regional management. • Identify and evaluate control weaknesses, operational exceptions, and compliance gaps during testing. • Track and follow up on past audit recommendations to ensure management implements corrective action plans on time. • Review audit evidence to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of audit working papers. • Participate in opening and exit meetings with auditees to communicate audit scope and present key findings. • Support the Head of Audit & Inspection Team in planning engagement workflows, schedules, and resource allocations. • Ensure full compliance with internal audit standards and company governance frameworks. • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior auditors to enhance audit quality, documentation, and consistency. Job Specifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. • Minimum 3 – 5 years of auditing experience (preferable in Insurance Industry) • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge of audit procedures, internal control, accounting standards and risk-based auditing. • Knowledge of insurance industry operations, risk mitigation, and compliance standards. • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and English 4 skill (Basic Level). • Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. • Ability to travel to regional branches as required for audit assignments.
