About the Role

saikiran is seeking a Senior Backend Developer in Dallas, TX, to design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and platform capabilities. You will combine backend engineering with hands-on release readiness, production deployment, monitoring, and cross-team coordination. In this long-term contract role, you will contribute to high-impact technical decisions, uphold engineering excellence, and support smooth, reliable release cycles.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with technical leaders on architecture, design frameworks, and roadmap planning.
• Guide early-stage designs and help ensure strong technical execution.
• Build reliable, scalable distributed systems and backend services.
• Lead technical decisions for high-risk or high-impact initiatives.
• Own features from prototype through production.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, security, digital, and engineering teams.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively and take ownership in a remote or hybrid work setup.
• Identify customer pain points and propose self-service automation solutions.
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and a positive, collaborative team culture.

Required Qualifications

• At least 8 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure and end-to-end DevOps pipelines.
• Solid foundations in data structures and algorithms.

Compensation and Work Location

This is a long-term contract position based in Dallas, Texas. The listed pay is $110000 per year. The role is not listed as remote eligible.
