Senior Business Development & Sales Manager

About the role

Design Mode is a Phoenix-based event design and production company specializing in extraordinary corporate events, conferences, brand activations, galas, and large-scale experiences nationwide.

This is a proactive sales position focused on developing new relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing business.

Tasks

• Generate new corporate event and production business in Phoenix and nationwide.
• Build relationships with corporate meeting planners, DMCs, event agencies, hotels, venues, and industry partners.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Collaborate with our design and production teams on proposals and pricing.
• Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
• Develop strategies to expand Design Mode’s market presence.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial outreach through proposals, negotiations, and signed contracts.

Requirements

• Proven success in business development and B2B sales.
• Experience in corporate events, hospitality, experiential marketing, or event production strongly preferred.
• Established industry relationships are a major plus.
• Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
• Phoenix-based with flexibility for occasional travel.
