Job description
Tasks
- Design and develop scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Build reusable data processing frameworks using Java and Apache Beam.
- Develop and optimize enterprise data platforms on GCP.
- Design and implement Medallion Architecture.
- Optimize BigQuery queries and large-scale data processing.
- Manage workflow orchestration, data storage, and pipeline performance.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java-based Google Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam) – Mandatory.
- Strong programming experience in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Beam SDK.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong expertise in BigQuery and advanced SQL.
- Experience building enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
- Experience with Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of GCP IAM, cloud security, and governance.
- Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Dataflow jobs.
