Job Description
Key Responsibilities● Build and ship product features end-to-end● Ability to write clear and well-defined design documentation● Mentor fellow engineers● Lead application architecture decisions● Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software bugs● Implement back-end APIs in Node.JS● Work on our Ember SPA front-end● Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers● Participate in an Agile software development life cycle● Write well-designed, maintainable & testable code● Be product-minded and think about the customer● Work with JavaScript, Node.JS, Ember, Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes,Electron.js, React, etc.Attributes of a Successful Candidate● Minimum of 7 years of experience developing web-based applications● Experience with informal technical leadership and mentorship of junior engineers● Experience with a modern front-end framework (Ember, Angular, React, Vue, etc.)● Experience writing REST / JSON APIs in various backend technologies (Node.js, Dotnet,etc.)● Strong testing culture● Ability to work together with a team to deliver high quality software● Growth mindset Preferred Skills● Experience with Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript● Experience with Serverless architecture and related paradigms● Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Ember.js, React)● Experience working on SaaS web applications● Github Actions and general CI/CD experience● Bonus: Docker or Kubernetes experience● Bonus: Electron and/or MSFT Add-In development experience● BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
