Senior Healthcare IT Project Director

About the role

Tectonic Advisory Services Inc. is recruiting an experienced Project Director / HIS Workstream Manager to support a major digital health transformation at one of Ontario's leading hospitals.

Tasks

• Lead the Outpatient and Clinical Non-Acute workstream, encompassing outpatient and ambulatory clinics, oncology services, behavioural sciences, rehabilitation services, research, and complex continuing care.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clinical and technical stakeholders, manage implementation planning and risks, and help drive successful clinical transformation.

Requirements

• Mandatory Canadian healthcare implementation experience
• Mandatory Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) implementation experience
• Direct outpatient or ambulatory healthcare experience
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in complex IT transformation
• Proven project leadership, governance, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience leading clinical, technical, and vendor teams
• Clinical background and PMP designation considered assets

Schedule

• Hybrid, approximately 3 days per week onsite, with additional onsite presence when required
• Initial 900-hour engagement over 6–9 months, with potential extension
• Immediate availability strongly preferred
