Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to work on hybrid mode in Mexico City for a multicultural project with stability and growth in the short, medium and long term. Required QualificationsDesign, develop, and implement robust backend applications using Java and Microservices Architecture.Apply advanced Software Design Patterns to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.Deploy, manage, and optimize application workloads in Kubernetes environments.Collaborate closely with global engineering teams based in Sweden to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
What we're looking for: Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer.Strong hands-on experience with Java (experience with Java 21 is highly preferred).Solid expertise in applying Software Design Patterns.Extensive experience designing and developing Microservices using Quarkus.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience working with Kubernetes.High-performance mindset with resilience, emotional intelligence, and an agile delivery approach.Strong engineering mindset with a deep understanding of the difference between coding and software engineering.
Nice to Have:Knowledge of Cloud fundamentals.Experience using AI-powered coding assistants.
Languages:Advanced English (required for effective collaboration with global teams).Native Spanish.
Work Model:This position requires 100% onsite work at our client's offices in Reforma, Mexico City, during the first four months. After the onboarding period, the role transitions to a hybrid work model, subject to project needs.
