Geocomp’s GeoTesting Express (GTX) is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our Soil Testing Laboratory in Elmsford, NY.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to advance their career in geotechnical testing. You will work on state-of-the-art automated testing equipment, advanced processes, and real-world projects that support site characterization, geotechnical design, quality control, and performance assessment.

You will be part of a new team of laboratory professionals committed to delivering fast, accurate, and high-quality geotechnical testing services as we open our new laboratory location in New York. Key Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing on soilCollect, record, and report test data with accuracy and attention to detailAssist with laboratory projects and daily operations as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environmentUphold high standards of quality, safety, and process compliance

Qualifications

Required

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentOrganized, adaptable, and willing to learn new laboratory techniques3 to 5 years of relevant laboratory testing experience — full training will be provided

Preferred

Coursework or exposure to earth sciences, geology, civil, or environmental engineering is a plus (not required)

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods at a lab bench or workstationLaboratory environment: standard indoor lab setting
