Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

About the role

Join a high-impact project driving data modernization in the SAP ecosystem. This is a freelance project with a duration of 6–12 months and working hours of 8 hours per day.

Requirements

• 9+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development across ECC and S/4HANA.
• At least one full S/4HANA implementation, conversion, or template rollout.
• Strong L3/AMS support experience with SLA-driven ticket handling and complete WRICEF development experience.
• Strong OO ABAP and expertise in User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Spots, and Enhancement Framework.
• Strong ABAP on HANA skills, including CDS Views, AMDP, code pushdown, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with IDoc/ALE/EDI, RFC/BAPI, Proxies, and OData/SAP Gateway.
• Expert-level debugging and analysis using ST05, SAT, ATC/Code Inspector, and New Debugger.
• Ability to translate functional specifications into technical designs and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of at least one core business process: OTC, PTP, MTD, or R2R.
• Strong experience working with functional consultants and process owners across global teams.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure Databricks, PySpark/SQL, and Delta Lake.
• SAP data provisioning experience using ODP/ODQ, CDS extraction, SLT, or BW Extractors.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, abapGit, CI/CD, and GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with Fiori/UI5, RAP, and SAP BTP Extensibility.
• CPG/FMCG industry experience and DSD/route-to-market exposure.
• ABAP for SAP HANA and/or Databricks certifications.
