Senior Security Analyst

Tasks

• Investigating security incidents, managing security controls, addressing vulnerabilities, and supporting security operations across Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments.

Requirements

• Professional, hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Entra ID - both required
• Practical Microsoft 365 administration and security experience
• 3+ years of security operations experience, including vulnerability management and incident response
• Microsoft Sentinel or another SIEM is helpful.
• Purview can be learned.
• Security certifications are preferred, not required.
• Candidates should be local to the Kansas City metro area or able to work onsite from day one.

Schedule

• 6-month contract-to-hire position
• Onsite
• One work-from-home day is available once fully trained.
