Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team supporting enterprise-scale, cloud-native applications.
📍 Location: Washington, DC / Tysons, VA / Rockville, MD
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
⏳ Duration: 6+ Months Contract
🛂 Work Authorization: US Citizen / Green Card/H4 EAD/OPT EAD

🔑 Key Skills
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Expert-level Java development
• Spring Boot, Microservices & REST APIs
• AWS – Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, Aurora
• Relational DB: PostgreSQL / MySQL
• NoSQL: MongoDB / Cassandra
• Distributed systems & scalable architecture
• CI/CD, DevOps & automated testing
• Performance tuning & application security
• Python is a plus
• AI/LLM tools and AI-assisted software development experience preferred
• Strong communication, architecture and mentoring skills
